Four years after a total failure in the first round, Africa again has two knockout stages in the World Cup with Senegal and Morocco, a long-awaited awakening for a continent that now dreams of the last four. Morocco even finished at the top of their very strong group F with the Croatian vice-world champions and the Belgians, as they had done in 1986 ahead of Portugal and England.
