Several Christmas events are organized in Locminé, in this month of December. Saturday 17, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the village hall, the municipality offers a family recreational afternoon, with manual activities, by age group (3-5 years; 6-8 years; 9-12 years ) and in the presence of animators from the leisure reception and the media library, elected officials and children from the municipal youth council. Make-up workshop, wooden games, archery and many other surprises await families. A Christmas snack will be offered by the town hall.
Santa’s mailbox, located on rue du Fil, waits for letters until December 19: don’t forget to mention his name and address, so that the elves can reply.
Sound and light to replace fireworks
The new regulations for fireworks in the city center prohibit firing, Friday December 16 at 7:15 p.m., a new sound and light show will be offered on the church square, combining Christmas tales, music and games of lights.
Finally, for the sake of economy, the illuminations will be held from December 9 to January 3, 2023, the garlands have all been switched to LED. The municipality was able to count on the help of residents to implement the Christmas decorations and entertainment. Mrs. Le Cléach has lent her shop window, rue du Fil. The Audo spouses helped to decorate it. Senior Tuesdays also participated with their pretty Christmas trees near the arch.
