I am being ‘raised as a newbie’ in the badminton club

* What is a ‘Newbie’?
A term used to describe someone who is starting something new. It’s the first thing I’ve heard in the gaming world.
For example, if you are new to roll, roll newbie. If you’re new to brunch, brunch newbies.

It’s been n weeks since I started playing badminton!

Recently, I knocked on the door of a badminton club.

In fact, I did not sign up for the purpose of the movement itself. Now, as I start the sport of badminton, I do not have the enthusiasm to improve my athletic skills.

Rather, I have a much greater desire to get along with people.

Barriers felt by badminton beginners (difficulty)

Badminton requires a lot of equipment to prepare.

At least, it required more preparation than swimming, which had been fun for months. Swimming requires a swimsuit, goggles, and a swimming cap. Toiletries are needed for any workout, so let’s move on.

However, badminton requires more equipment. Besides, getting the ‘right’ one costs a lot more than swimming.

Based on the equipment I have now, a swimsuit is the most expensive preparation for swimming. A little over 100,000 won. By the way, in badminton, the cost of a ‘proper’ racket far exceeds the price of my swimsuit. The cost of the racket was 1.8 times (180,000 won), saying, “It is good for beginners to start with this level.” Also, non-slip comfortable shoes cost a little more than 100,000 won unless they are on a discount event. Badminton balls, consumable items that are likely to fall off quickly, are also expensive. Sportswear of a specific brand that club members wear like group clothes is far from cheap.

In the club, you can experience ‘raising newbies’ by masters

The good thing about joining a club is that it doesn’t just involve hanging out with people.

If you have any questions about the equipment, they will kindly give you advice. In a world where advertisements are prevalent online and offline, it is really difficult to shop by referring to honest reviews. By the way, people in the club share really in-depth, useful, know-how information about badminton equipment. Moreover, they are considerate so that you can use your own equipment!

I tried on this person’s racket, looked at their bag, and tried on their shoes. In addition, I tried on top and bottom badminton suits, and after experiencing this much, I thought that this is what raising newbies is all about.

‘Raising newbies’ is where the so-called masters pet newbies (hereafter referred to as newbies) who have just accessed the game, take care of them, and help them adapt to the game. I thought it only existed in 2D or 3D games, but I never expected to experience something like this in real life.

If you watch a video of a funny issue in the game world, there are newbies running away from the masters who keep taking care of them. Of course, masters find newbies who run away like that again. Were the newbies running around feeling burdened by the masters helping them? Or, did he have a strong will to grow up voluntarily? I do not know.

Now, I am being raised in the real world, not in the game world, and as a badminton newbie, I am happy and enjoying this situation.

He doesn’t run away or refuse, he listens to advice and actively seeks advice.

thank you Let’s exercise happily and healthily!
