The Red Devils are looking for a new national coach. The name of Louis van Gaal is being put forward, but there is another striking name that is doing the rounds in the corridors.
The team know that Hervé Renard is on the shortlist of the RBFA. The Frenchman – it must be said: with a crazy side – was active as national coach of Saudi Arabia at the World Cup.
Renard was briefly active at Lille OSC in 2015, but otherwise he mainly worked on the African continent. He was national coach of successively Zambia, Angola, Ivory Coast and Morocco.
