A stand collapsed during a basketball match between two local teams on Saturday, south of Cairo. The toll is 27 injured. The spectators found themselves buried under the bleachers.
“A few people suffered non-life-threatening fractures,” said the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar. The Hassan Mostafa Hall, located south of Cairo, the capital, was opened two years ago.
