The World Tennis League final, which takes place in the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, will pit the Hawks against the Kites. Caroline Garcia (Eagles) lost to Elena Rybakina, while Novak Djokovic (Falcons) won, but her team is therefore eliminated.

The final of the World Tennis League, which takes place in the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, is officially known. Indeed, it will oppose the Hawks team, which includes the German Alexander Zverev, to those of the Kites of the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime. This exhibition continued this Friday, with, once again, singles matches, whether for men or for women, but also mixed doubles. In particular, the Eagles of the Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia remain at the dock. The latter ended her adventure on a bad note, after her defeat against the Kazakh Elena Rybakina, in two sets (7-5, 6-1) and 1h01 of play. However, just before, this same team had won the bet in the doubles match between Australian Nick Kyrgios and Canadian Bianca Andreescu against the pair of Austrian Dominic Thiem and Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Djokovic battled

A victory in three sets (6-4, 4-6, 10-7) and 1h21 of play. Finally, for men, Andreas Seppi (Eagles) did not resist Alexander Zverev (6-4, 6-2 and 1h14 of play). Later in the day, another duel opposed the Falcons to the Kites. Among the Kites, the pair made up of the Dane Holger Rune and the Indian Sania Mirza won against the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov and the Spaniard Paula Badosa (6-2, 4-6, 10-5 and 1h09 of game ). The Kites then relied on the world number 1, the Polish Iga Swiatek, winner of the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, fifth player in the world (6-1, 6-3 and 1h08 of game). Finally, the day ended with a duel between the Serbian Novak Djokovic and the Austrian Sebastian Ofner, who replaced, for the occasion, Félix Auger-Aliassime. Faced with the 193rd player in the world, the world number five fought, in 1h16 of play, before finally having the last word, but in three sets (6-7 (5), 6-0, 10-7). A victory for nothing since his team, the Falcons, therefore remains at the dock.
