A crazy minute and a smile found at EAG. This Saturday, at the Akademi, the Rouge et Noir finally scored their first win of the season against Soyaux. A victory built in one minute with a helping hand from the Sojaldiciennes when the Munich goalkeeper caught a back pass from Roux. Indirect free kick sent under the bar by Cambot (1-0, 17 ‘). A goal, then two in stride thanks to a header from Richard on a throw-in from Léger after a cross from Traoré (2-0, 18’).
Victory 210 days later
If Frédéric Biancalani, the coach of the Costarmoricaines, spoke of “almost death or survival” before the meeting, the Guingampaises finally tasted the flavors of victory. 210 days later. “It allows us to validate what we have been doing for some time”, appreciates the coach of a team which has scored, in one minute, as many goals as during the first nine days. But, demanding, the coach of En Avant would have liked to extinguish all suspense earlier. Admittedly, the Costarmoricaines freed themselves from the pressure exerted by Soyaux at the start of the match but did not know how to drive the point home, Cambot hitting above (30′) then colliding with Munich (41′). “The game must be folded at halftime,” said Biancalani.
Guingamp collect
A bigger advantage would probably have avoided a bit of panic at Guingampaises when Gbougou reduced the gap in a mouse hole (2-1, 82 ‘). A short-lived fright, however, Cambot taking advantage of a cross to adjust Munich with composure just after kick-off (3-1, 83 ‘). “It allows us to pick up a little bit and breathe, concludes Frédéric Biancalani. And we can get our heads out of the water just before the break, by some miracle. “Because En Avant is still the red lantern, but only points to a length of the first non-relegation before going to Rodez, another direct competitor in the race for maintenance.
