Football: Luco-Primaubois veterans play for their personal pleasure

Every Friday evening, veterans of Luc Primaube Football Club, coached by Éric Rieux and Gilles Leclerc, play football for the pleasure of physical contact. They are about twenty licensees to meet for the beauty of the sport and their personal pleasure. Exit the pressure of an eternal classification, they still play around twenty matches during their season. And they wet their jersey! If the result is not essential, they always play diligently. The results are also balanced: as many victories as defeats. The meetings do not engender melancholy: fair play and the perfect state of mind that prevails do honor to football.

Last Friday, the Luco-Primaubois wore brand new jerseys in original colors and inscriptions, flocked by Vincent Labourdenne (TDSC) on which one could read on the back, Grimpe, Tu sors!, Trotteuse, Petit patapon, Labo Rieux, Cerise, Tension, Marianne, You’re alone… They received their counterparts from Montbazens on the synthetic pitch François Niarfeix in Luc. The result ? Regardless, everyone had a great night, which continued long after the match was over, with an unmissable third half. Throughout the season, with the exception of a long winter break, all these “former glories” with a good foot, a good eye, take great pleasure in “teasing” the ball against their counterparts from the Aveyron clubs: Sébazac, Nauviale, Pont-de-Salars, Saint-Geniez d’Olt… A few hairs less for some, a few extra pounds for others, graying temples, they prove in the field that they are still very sharp and demonstrate that they still have technique, multiplying the amortizations of the chest, the dribbles and the spectacular flights!
