A lot has happened at Anderlecht in recent months. Jesper Fredberg was appointed as new CEO Sport. The Dane didn’t waste any time and has now appointed a new trainer.
Brian Riemer has become the successor of Felice Mazzu. Robin Veldman — who got a taste of the work as T1 — is his assistant. On Tuesday they played a match against Panetolikos, which was won 1-2.
Not everyone was in a festive mood after the match, however. Julien Duranville had to leave again fifteen minutes after his substitution. He grabbed the hamstrings and had to sit down. In October, the young Belgian also struggled with a similar injury.
It is not yet clear how long the winger will be out. On Twitter, the Anderlecht fans reacted: “It’s such a shame that he always gets injured” and “Please tell me he’s not as fragile as Jérémy Doku!”

Julien Duranville seems to be injured in the exhibition match against Panetolikos. Fumbles to the thigh for a spurt and sits outside the lines. #rsca #panand
