Find out what the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center and the Son Moix and Santiago Bernabeu stadiums have in common

The Rafa Nadal Tennis Center in Manacor was an important challenge for the Majorcan company Talat. A complete and executive management and engineering project for a complex of sports facilities, distributed among a residence, a training school, a hotel, tennis courts, changing rooms, a bar and green areas. The order included the BMS control of its facilities, which are still being monitored. And this year it continues with a new adventure, the expansion of the center for administrative and sports purposes, which will make the tennis center have 18 new courts, 10 of which will be covered, and a new 3-story building.

And if the Rafael Nadal Center was a challenge, Talat’s illusion continues to grow with the remodeling project of the Son Moix Stadium in Palma, even more so by combining the design of the remodeling project with RCD Mallorca’s commitment to respect the environment and the clear objective of providing the best experience for the Club’s fans.

Project in the Son Moix Stadium

The works of this first phase in Sound Moix They consist of building a new grandstand at the bottom of the Sol tribune and a cantilever that will cover 6,556 spectators on rainy days and protect them from the sun at high temperatures. The new design brings the fan closer to just over 8 meters from the pitch, counting on the improvement and adaptation of accesses and locations for people with special needs and reduced mobility.

Talat is in charge of the electricity and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as the telecommunications and lighting nodes, under the direction of Manu Ors Sureda, who in addition to being a technical engineer at Talat is a great fan of the team and states that “it is an honor to see how the stadium evolves and a great responsibility to be part of its history”. In particular, the club has relied on Talat for the installation of 28 LED lights that are already highly visible from the nearby Vía de Cintura, dressing the Son Moix Stadium at night in the colors of Real Mallorca, highlighting the highest perimeter of its bleachers.
