Exams at Judoka VfB Langenhagen: Colorful belts and badges

VfB Langenhagen. There was a lot going on with the VfB Langenhagen judoka in the pre-Christmas period. In early December, excitement grew among examinees taking part in the first major Saturday exam after the pandemic. Under the strict eyes of the examiners Klaudia Wahl (third Dan) and Carsten Tront (fourth Dan) and the sympathetic eyes of their parents and siblings, ten young judoka competed for their first belt test outside of their training group. Unfortunately, due to the wave of illnesses, not all examinees were able to appear that day, but those who were ill will of course be checked. In a very good and concentrated atmosphere, everyone was then able to prove that they had mastered their program standing and on the ground for the next belt. And so Rafael Knorr is happy about the white and yellow belt. Aban Abshaish, Adrian Herbst, Arian Güden, Clara Thiemann, Emilia Morgenstern, Emilio Niedan, Lea Demlang, Lennart Müller, Leonard Dempewolf, Mian Matcovic, Tom Demlang and Willem Thiemann proudly received their certificates for the yellow belt to much applause. It was already the third belt test for Leonard Jung and Simon Herrmann and they are happy to proudly wear the yellow-orange belt.
Our youngest judoka, the judo mice, use their last training before the holidays for their minimum mouse test, but also for belt tests. Benjamin, Clara, Emil, Isabella, Jakob, Leonard, Max, Nina, Oskar, Ruben, Rune, Tamina and Till. You can now have a new mouse badge ironed onto your belt. It was exciting for Carlo Dattke, Damian Gehrmann, Lea Schindler, Lilly Graff and Marvin Westphal, because they showed with their first throwing and holding techniques as well as their first practice fights on the ground that they deserved the white and yellow belt. And so the judokids went into the Christmas holidays with a little Christmas surprise. We wish you happy holidays and a happy new year and are already looking forward to the start of training on January 10th on the mat. Then you can get a taste of things with us again, whether you just want to do judo or want to get your hands on Christmas cookies – we welcome all age groups. The club website www.vfb-langenhagen.de reveals where and when we can be found.
