End of season for part of the quarry of Club Badminton Soria-CS24

The U15 and U19 players of Club Badminton Soria-CS24 ended the season with the competition held by the Castilla y León Badminton Federation in the Palencia town of Villamuriel de Cerrato.

Despite the fact that Daniela Corchón rose to the sub-19 category, still being a player in the sub-17 category, she won the singles and silver in the mixed double. Taking advantage of this event on the Castilian-Leonese calendar, Daniela faced players who were up to three years older than her and she ended up prevailing despite having to overcome matches that lasted until the third set.

In the mixed box, he won the runner-up since, together with his usual teammate Andrés Pérez, from León, he would give up the match that would settle the gold with a result of 16-21, 21-15 and 18-21.

The exception from Soria, made up of six players, would obtain a third place on the podium thanks to the third position of the women’s double duo made up of the very young Isabel Corchón and Carmen Gómez. Suffering to get through the group stage, they would be beaten in the semifinal round.

The end of the season will be put by the players of the sub-13 category who will face the Spanish champion of their category during the course of the next weekend.
