Argentinian goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was voted the best goalkeeper and received the Golden Glove World Cup 2022 after beating France on penalties in the final match at the Lusail Stadium, Sunday (18/12).
Martinez defeated a number of goalkeepers who performed well at the 2022 World Cup such as Hugo Lloris and Dominik Livakovic.
Martinez was one of the important players in Argentina’s success in winning the 2022 World Cup. The Aston Villa goalkeeper made a number of important saves against France in the final.
Argentina almost lost 3-4 if Martinez did not block Randal Kolo Muani’s shot one minute before the end of extra time.
