Elkan Baggott Runs to Protest to the Referee, Gillingham Coach Annoyed by Wolves Gets a Penalty Prize

The Indonesian national team player, Elkan Baggott, ran to the referee to protest after Wolverhampton Wanderers received a penalty which also irritated Gillingham FC coach.

BOLASPORT.COM – The Indonesian national team player, Elkan Baggott, ran to the referee to protest after Wolverhampton Wanderers received a penalty which also irritated Gillingham FC coach.

Gillingham FC and Wolverhampton Wanderers faced each other in the round of 16 match of the 2022-2023 English League Cup.

The two clashes were held at the Molineux Stadium on Tuesday (20/12/2022) local time or early Wednesday WIB.

Elkan Baggott also appeared for Gillingham on his visit to the Wolverhampton Wanderers headquarters.

Gillingham FC coach, Neil Harris, installed Elkan Baggott as a starter and played him for the full 90 minutes.

Neil Harris fielded Elkan Baggott at centre-back alongside four other Gillingham players in a 5-4-1 formation.

Elkan Baggott hand in hand with Max Ehmer, David Tutonda, Will Wright and Cheye Alexander, in the back line of The Gills.

The line of defense guarded by Elkan Baggott and friends actually managed to survive conceding until well into the 70’s.

Unfortunately, Gillingham had to be rewarded with a penalty by referee Michael Salisbury in the 75th minute.
