Doncic, the NBA’s leading scorer, admits one of his weaknesses

The Dallas “Mavericks” represented by Dāvja Bertān beat the Golden State “Warriors”, the NBA champion of the previous season, at home on Tuesday with 116:113 (36:24, 19:30, 37:33, 24:26).

This season’s NBA leading scorer scored 41 points in the winning team, as well as collected 12 rebounds and assists.

After the match, former NBA star Charles Barkley stated in a TNT television interview that the “Mavericks” team should play faster basketball.

“Yes, but you know, I’m slow. Maybe that’s the problem, and that’s why we play slower. I think you’re right. We need to create attacks faster,” Doncic admitted.

The 23-year-old Slovenian basketball player averaged 33.5 points in 19 matches this season, which gives him the first place in the list of the most productive players.

With 10 wins and 10 losses, the “Mavericks” currently occupy only 11th place in the overall standings of the Western Conference, being outside the “play-off” and even “play-in” zone.
