Dallas “Mavericks” player Luka Doncic and Toronto “Raptors” forward Pascal Siakam have been recognized as the best players of the past week of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively.
Doncic averaged 31.5 points, nine assists and eight rebounds last week, helping the Mavericks to three wins in four games. The “Mavericks” team, in whose ranks Dāvis Bertāns also plays, ranks eighth in the Western Conference with 18 wins and 16 losses.
Meanwhile, Siakam, who has two wins in three games with the Raptors, averaged 38.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists last week. The Toronto team, with a record of 15-18, is in tenth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
