We can consider Christmas as officially started, because footballer and former national team player David Limberský (39) also showed off a tree. He and his wife Lenka (38) are famous for the fact that they do not spare an artificial handsome man. The adage that less is sometimes more does not really apply to Limberský.

“It’s unbelievable how many people are interested in our Christmas tree. We have a tree hidden in a box, we take it down and decorate it every year. It’s definitely not like it’s sitting decorated in the garage somewhere and we’re just going to pull it out at Christmas. I have some favorite sets of ornaments, but I buy new ones every year. Last Christmas, I triumphantly announced that we would have a beautiful red and white tree. When David heard this, he told me if I was crazy and that there would definitely not be a Slavic tree at home,” explained Mrs. Limberská to the životvčesku.cz website, adding that she and her husband joked when decorating, because they expected that their Christmas symbol it will again bring down an avalanche of attention.

“I’ve always admired David, how he can deal with bullies. People are mean sometimes and David takes it easy. At first I didn’t understand how he could be so on top of things. But life will teach you, I don’t care about it now either. And as for the tree, we are already making fun of it, we are already laughing while decorating it, that people will definitely comment again. But more people write to me that they like the tree and that it is beautiful.
