Darts World Cup 2023: Star rages because of Fallon Sherrock Sports

In the Darts World Cup is already powerful Zoff!

The minds of the participants excited Fallon Sherrock (28), who received her World Cup ticket afterwards.

The world association PDC, which organizes the tournament, surprisingly changed the qualification criteria for the World Championships around four weeks before the tournament. This gave women a third starting place. Sherrock is only 3rd in the women’s ranking and would not have actually been at the World Cup. And she’s rid of her title as “Darts Queen”! The other two contestants are Lisa Ashton and Beau Greaves.

The short-term change is now heating up the darts scene!

Star player Vincent van der Voort is really pissed off. In an interview with “Online Darts TV” he says: “I have absolutely nothing against Fallon and neither can she do anything about it, but of course this invitation is ridiculous, especially since it was announced so late.”

Van der Voort further explains: “Well, the PDC does a lot of things wrong, but no one dares to say anything about it, except myself. I also understand the other players who don’t want to risk their future, but I don’t care myself.”

Another star finds the extra sausage for Sherrock but really fragrant! Michael Smith explains on Sky UK: “I think it’s good. I know there’s a controversy about this, but Fallon increases the excitement for the World Cup, gets a lot of media attention and people tuning in.”

Sherrock starts the tournament on Tuesday. She has to face Ricky Evans in the evening session. She’s really happy that she wasn’t drawn against boyfriend Cameron Menzies (who faces Diogo Portela in his opening game). “It would have been extremely difficult on an emotional level,” Sherrock told the Daily Mirror. She goes on to explain: “But it would also have been difficult from a purely sporting point of view, after all, Cameron is a very good player. If we had been drawn mutually, World War III would have broken out, someone would have had to move.”

A win would see Joe Cullen (11th in the world) waiting in the 2nd round. At the 2020 World Cup, she sensationally made it into the third round.
