The entire Naesu-eup is a safe flight zone under the Military Base Act.
However, the city did not consult with the 17th Fighter Wing of the Air Force at the time of consultation on the execution plan of the domestic living sports park creation project in May 2017.
A multipurpose gym, soccer field, foot volleyball field, ground golf course, artificial rock wall, baseball field, and badminton gym have been built or are being built, and lighting towers (10) are being installed in the soccer field and baseball field.
The football field that was built first was not installed due to the Air Force’s refusal to view the light tower as a similar light that could interfere with the pilot’s control, so it is currently used only during the day. It has become virtually impossible to install lighting towers at baseball fields.
