On November 19, the provincial sports games of the Diputación de Sevilla began. A series of competitions that is organized by the Sevillian public entity in order to promote sport throughout the province. Among these disciplines are basketball, soccer 7, volleyball or table tennis. The latter started, like the others, in the Zone IV of the Sevillian province, a place that corresponds to the most southeastern part of the Seville province.
In the discipline of table tennis, two categories were disputed, primary and secondary, where the towns of Estepa, Casariche, El Saucejo and Pedrera. These first two municipalities with two teams, A and B. Therefore, three matches were played for each category.
Beginning with the primary category, the first match that was played was El Saucejo vs. Casariche “A”. The crash dated at 09:30 was resolved with the result of 0-3 for the casaricheño team. After that, he was followed by Steppe “A” in front of Casariche “B” which ended with a new victory for the winning town in the first match. The third and last match of the “primary” category was played between the second team of Estepa, the Steppe “B”, and Pedrera. This last confrontation ended for the Estepeño with a result of 2-1.
At the attached table and simultaneously, the matches of the provincial table tennis games of the secondary category were played. The first match played was the match between The Saucejo and Pedrera which ended with victory for the team from Pedrero by 1-2. At 11:00 it was followed by the match played between the Casariche “A” and Estepa “B”. This second meeting of the morning in the secondary category resulted in a victory for the casachireña squad 2-1, thus winning three of the three matches played up to that moment. Finally, the day closed with another victory for Casariche’s team. The second team of the secondary category beat Estepa “A” by a resounding 3-0 to round off a perfect day, four victories out of four possible and only two sets lost throughout the morning. Despite the fact that the competition is very extensive, until the end of May, the team from the municipality of Casariche is the absolute favorite to win the competition this season 22/23
