CREAM – It’s called The right words and it is the photographic calendar created by Cream basketball and from Basket Team Crema for 2023.
The calendar tells a story, that of Pallacanestro Crema which has been on the front line for over five years to combat gender-based violence and any other form of discrimination. It tells of men who are on the side of women and who, just this year, have decided to train with special teammates: the girls of Basket Team Crema, a newly promoted formation in the women’s A1 series.
These are girls and boys, united by a strong passion for basketball, who together have chosen to transmit a message against violence: images, art, words, enclosed in the beauty of the simplest and most concrete gestures, «because we are stronger together».
The 12 months each present a photograph with players of the two teams, prepared by the body painting work of theartist Giulia Ronzoni and immortalized by scatti di Phantom Studio.
The funds raised from the sale of the calendar, supported by around fifty local sponsors, will be entirely destined to support for the activities of the Con-Tatto Network and the Libellula Foundation. The calendar was presented in recent days by president Lorenza Branchias part of the delivery of the annual awards of the Stars of Sporting Merit.
