BOLASPORT.COM – The current king of world badminton, Viktor Axelsen, achieved disappointing results in the final match of the Group A preliminary round of the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals.

Viktor Axelesen had his last match in the preliminary round of Group A BWF World Tour Finals 2022 against HS Prannoy from India, Friday (9/12/2022).

Even though he already holds a ticket to the semifinals of the BWF World Tour Finals 2022, Viktor Axelsen showed aggressive play in that match.

Appearing at the Nimibutr Arena, Bangkok, Thailand, Viktor Axelsen was actually made helpless by HS Prannoy who showed his persistence throughout the match.

Within 51 minutes, the world’s first ranked men’s singles lost to HS Prannoy through a rubber game 21-14, 17-21, 18-21.

The match itself was tight from the start of the first game where the two men’s singles players shared points up to five times.

After that, Viktor Axelsen managed to take over the momentum to win the interval in the first game.

After the break, the men’s singles from Denmark was increasingly unstoppable by leaving HS Prannoy in the scoring.
