BOLASPORT.COM – BWF has released the draw results for the 2022 BWF World Tour Finals tournament, the players already know who the opponents they will face in the group stage later.
BWF World Tour Finals 2022 will kick off from December 7-11 in Bangkok, Thailand.
This means that there is still one day for the players to formulate a strategy to get past the group phase and compete in the knockout stages and win the title.
For the Indonesian squad that managed to send representatives in all the sectors that were contested, several players had to face tough opponents, even having to face their own comrades in the group phase.
The Indonesian women’s doubles pair, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, became the pair in Group Hell by joining Group B.
The reason is that Apriyani/Fadia must be in a group with two Chinese pairs, Zhang Shu Xian/Zheng Yu and Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan.
Besides that, there is still the name Pearly Tan/Thinaah Muralitharan from Malaysia which cannot be underestimated.
Apart from Apriyani/Fadia from the women’s singles sector, represented by Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, they are also in a group that is not easy.
Gregoria who was invited to BWF, because one of the players withdrew from joining group A.
