Bob Peeters finds new challenge as T1 at Dutch second division club Helmond Sport | football Netherlands

Peeters was recently working as a coach at the Dutch second division club TOP Oss, but both parties parted ways in May of this year. With the current number seventeen (out of 20) from the Dutch second division, the ex-striker now finds a new challenge.

“I have good memories of my previous stay in the Netherlands at TOP Oss,” says Peeters on the club site. “The mentality of the people of Brabant suits me well.”

“I think it is important that the synergy between players, staff and supporters is good. We will work very hard on that, so that everyone will identify with the team and the club.”

Peeters started working at TOP Oss in the summer of 2021, after his contract with (the then second division) Westerlo was terminated in May 2021 after three and a half years.

The former striker was also a trainer of Cercle Brugge (2010-2012), a short period of AA Gent (2012-2013), Waasland-Beveren (2013-2014), the English Charlton (2014-2015), Lokeren (2015) and a first time Westerlo (2015-2016).
