The Celtic wedding of Bimenes. | L. Palacios
Bimenes was filled yesterday with Celtic tribes from the Northwest in a meeting that has served to stage several historical recreations of the life of those populations. A parade and a wedding were held, officiated by a druid who was in charge of uniting the couple with various rites and a rope intertwining her hands. There was also a banquet and the representation of a battle between different towns, as well as archery activities.
