Benito Juárez: the basketball soccer fields reopen in the Alfonso Esparza Oteo Park

As part of the commitment of the mayor Santiago Taboada to promote sports and physical activity with decent and quality public spaces, the rehabilitation of the basketball and fast soccer courts that are inside the Alfonso Esparza Oteo Park, located in the Nápoles neighborhood, which are open to the public as of today.

The works carried out on the basketball court were placing a layer of asphalt mix, blue paint base, as well as painting in the limitation of the central, free kick and lateral areas.

On the fast soccer field, the adhesion of the synthetic grass mat was carried out, delimitation of the center and vertices, as well as placement of paint on the sidelines, goal and midfield, in addition to the general cleaning of the area.

These actions will benefit approximately 500 inhabitants per week, between the floating and local population. The mayor Santiago Taboada has reiterated that in his second term in charge of Benito Juárez he will continue with the rehabilitation of sports infrastructure, so these public courts are added to the first level facilities that the demarcation has and that have earned him to be headquarters of sporting events of national and international stature.
