Today, Thursday 29 December, the Pala Gialdo of Chieri and the Pala Wohtyla of Cambiano hosted the second and last day of competitions of the fifth edition of the Memorial Caparelli tournamentdedicated to the Beginners category (boys and girls born in 2011-12) and organized by BEA Chieri.
In a sold out and always warm Pala Gialdo, Basket Club Gators overcomes Kangaroos in the final, thus winning first place. Third step of the podium for San Mauro, who wins with BEA Leopardi in the 3rd-4th place final. Pallacanestro Farigliano finishes in fifth place after overtaking Don Bosco Crocetta, while BEA T-Sec is seventh at the end of an always balanced match with Cus Torino.
Ninth place for PNC “Blu” and tenth for Usac Rivarolo, followed by Olimpo Alba and PNC “Bianco”.
During the 1st-2nd Place Final, the draw for internal subscription to Christmas prizes for Sport 2022 took place, in collaboration with Trofarello Sec, San Giorgio Volley, Assam, BaldiSport, SanGip Basket and Pianalto Volley.
During the Semifinals in the morning, PNC “Blu” and Usac Rivarolo overtook Olimpo Alba and PNC “Bianco” respectively and qualified for the Final 9th-10th place.
Pallacanestro Farigliano and Don Bosco Crocetta conquered the Final 5th-6th place beating Cus Torino and BEA T-Sec.
Final 1st-2nd place for Kangaroos and San Mauro thanks to victories with BEA Leopardi and Basket Gators.

The tournament is in memory of Francesca Caparelli, a young athlete from the BEA school who died prematurely few years ago.
With the support of main sponsor Erowa, the event also has charitable purposes and part of the proceeds will be destined to UGI Onlus – Italian Parents’ Union against children’s cancerwhich operates in Piedmont and whose volunteers will be present on site.
