The opening ceremony of the League Championship held at the ZBEÜ Farabi Campus Sports Hall was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Deputy Mayor of Zonguldak Ogan Göktürk, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Şenol Hakan Kutoğlu, Provincial Youth and Sports Director Hakan Yüksel, Physical Education and Sports School Director Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Gümüşü, academic and administrative staff and students attended.

In the women’s competitions played after the opening, Zonguldak BEÜ defeated Anadolu University with a score of 54-42, while Kastamonu was ahead 73-36 in the fight against Bandırma.
