Father joy again with Dennis Schröder (29)!
The Los Angeles Lakers point guard has become a father for the third time. Schröder posted a photo of the newest family member on Instagram on Friday evening, writing on his post: “We are now 5 in total.”
Already on Thursday he hinted at the addition to the family. In his Instagram story (2.1 million followers), the NBA professional posted a picture showing his hand with a white bracelet around his wrist. He was probably holding his wife’s hands.
For the two, who have been married since July 20, 2019, it is the third child together. In February 2019 they became parents of a son for the first time, in August 2020 the second child followed.
A lot has changed for Schröder as a father. On the sidelines of the European Championship final round in Berlin, the captain of the German basketball players said: “Now I only live for my children.”
It is only through the offspring that one notices “how selfish (selfish, editor’s note) one was before”. In the meantime he has developed completely new virtues: Schröder: “You grow up, you become more patient, I wasn’t that before. Kids make you more patient.”

Things couldn’t be better for Schröder privately, but he’s in a crisis when it comes to sport.
The Lakers are currently in the table basement of the Western Conference. On the night of Saturday German time, Schröder and Co. play against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, Schröder will miss this game because of the third child.
