Badminton: the results of the FJEP weekend

Under 11 mixed: Limoux 2 – Castelnaudary 16 (0/08 – 01/02 – 06/01). Great victory for the Chauriens despite still too precarious progress and a big slump in the 2nd third. The defense is gradually gaining confidence. It’s good !

Under 13 boys: Narbonne 46 – Castelnaudary 7 (17/01 – 13/03 – 26/03). Very superior Narbonne team which dominates the event unchallenged. The Chauriens did their best despite numerous exclusions which sometimes forced them to find themselves at three on the ground. Cheers!

Under 15 boys: Castelnaudary 35 – Sud Toulousain 25 (17/07 – 10/11 – 08/07).

Nice match and nice victory for the Chauriens despite a second third lost by very little. The progress is there. Congratulations to all !

Girls under 15: Saint-Jean 33 – Castelnaudary 29 (14/08 – 08/11 – 11/10). A missed first period, home arbitration weighed on the real chances of the Chauriennes, who won the second period and lost the last on the golden goal after a tie. Good game.

Under 17 girls: Carcassonne 55 – Castelnaudary 21 (half-time 27 to 9). The Chauriennes with only seven players found themselves at six after an injury. Difficult in these conditions to do better against locals who were superior anyway. They had the merit of playing well and scoring 21 goals.

Under 18 boys: Tournefeuille 36 – Castelnaudary 27. The Chauriens suffered from the absence of their best scorer. They could (should) have compensated with a more serious and effective defense. With 27 goals scored, you can win if you want to defend (well). This sector needs to be worked on.

Senior boys: Revel 33 – Castelnaudary 24 (half-time 16 to 11). Despite numerous absences, the Chauriens offered good resistance to the locals, even if they were logically dominated. In full, they would undoubtedly have competed.

Senior girls: Escalquens 29 – Castelnaudary 12 (half-time 14 to 5). It is a decimated and in poor condition Chaurian team which logically concedes a heavy defeat against pleasantly surprised locals. Many absences (injuries, illnesses, family reasons) and a few convalescents on the pitch, we couldn’t have hoped for better. Satisfaction despite everything, because with eight players, the team showed courage, and, according to the instructions, worked well on the game on the move, even if the very real opportunities did not reach the back of the net. There will be better days.

Next weekend

Senior girls. Trip Friday, December 16 at 9 p.m. to Villefranche-de-Lauragais.
