Still on tour on the South American continent with Casper Ruud, Rafael Nadal paid a fine tribute to his compatriot, Carlos Alcaraz, the youngest world number 1 in history, with whom comparisons fuse.

“If Carlos is where he is today, it’s because he has incredible potential and because he deserves it. He is also very young and has the whole future ahead of him. Casper was very close to becoming world number one and winning his first Grand Slam at the US Open”underlined the man with 22 Grand Slam titles, to whom one match remains in Mexico before really starting the holidays.
