Arizona’s jump was aided by a Victory 89-75 on Saturday against No. 14 Indiana in Las Vegas, its third victory this season against a ranked opponent. UA will get another on Saturday when Tennessee’s No. 6 (9-1) comes to the McKale Center to complete a round trip with the Volunteers that began last season.

UA is one of two Pac-12 ranked schools, along with 16th UCLA. ASU, which has won seven straight and is 9-1 overall heading into a Monday night game with Creighton in Las Vegas, is tied for 28th in total votes.

Arizona visits ASU on Dec. 31.

Before facing Tennessee, Arizona will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Tuesday, the first of four home games in 10 days before the holidays.
