Jakarta, CNNIndonesia

Argentina winning 2-0 over France until the end of the first half of the final World Cup 2022 at Lusail Stadium, Qatar, Sunday (18/12).

Argentina appeared dominant in the first round. Team Tango looks more dangerous in building attacks and creating opportunities.

Shot on target the first came in the fifth minute after Alexis Mac Allister fired a speculative shot from outside the penalty box. The ball goes right into the arms of Hugo Lloris.

The match was halted in the ninth minute when Lloris picked up an injury. The France captain experienced pain in the stomach after being hit by his Tottenham team-mate, Cristian Romero.

Angel Di Maria almost put Argentina ahead in the 17th minute, but his shot in the box still went over. Likewise with Olivier Giroud’s header in the 20th minute.

Argentina then took a 1-0 lead over France through a Lionel Messi penalty in the 23rd minute. Messi managed to outwit the French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris through a penalty into the left corner of the goal.

Argentina got a penalty after Angel Di Maria was fouled by Ousmane Dembele. The replay shows Dembele’s hand pushing Di Maria who was controlling the ball in the penalty box.

Argentina then won 2-0 through Angel Di Maria’s beautiful goal in the 36th minute. Starting from the slick cooperation between Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez, Argentina carried out a slick counterattack that split the French defense.

Alvarez then sent the ball to Alexis Mac Allister who escaped the offside trap. Mac Allister then carefully assisted Angel Di Maria who freely beat Hugo Lloris.

Behind two goals Didier Deschamps decided to bring in Marcus Thuram and Randal Kolo Muani to replace Olivier Giroud and Ousmane Dembele. But France failed to score until the first 45 minutes.

Score 2-0 for Argentina lasted until the end of the first half.
