Of course, the big nations are the favorites in the knockout phase that begins today. The basis for the World Cup title is defensive stability, and I like Brazil a lot. Casemiro clears almost everything in midfield. But it will be exciting how the Brazilians react when they are challenged, once they are behind. Will they then, like in the last tournaments, especially in 2014, panic and break under the pressure. And France, of course, has tremendous power up front with Mbappé, Dembélé and Giroud.
