After a 14-year hiatus, the Corrientes Sports Festival returns

After a long hiatus, the Circle of Sports Journalists of Corrientes (Cpdc) will return this year to carry out the traditional Correntino Sports Festival – Curuzú de los Milagros Awards.

The event in which the entity will reward the best athletes of the 2022 season will take place on Wednesday, December 21, starting at 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Sociedad Española de Corrientes, located at Mendoza 530.

The Cpdc board of directors, after normalizing the entity, is working in a permanent session aimed at receiving the votes of its associates to form the 30 lists of disciplines to be distinguished.

On the occasion, mentions will be given to the ternados and the Curuzú de Plata award to the winning athletes of each discipline. Among these will emerge the Curuzú de Oro 2022.

In addition, at the major sports festival in the province, athletes who, in the opinion of the Cpdc members, stood out the most for their sporting merits between 2008 and 2021, and who could not be awarded by the institution, will be distinguished.

The XXII edition of the Sports Festival is sponsored by the Government of the Province of Corrientes, Municipality of the City of Corrientes, Aguas de Corrientes, Distribuidora Jota Be, Farmadenk, Puma Energy, Agropecuaria del Paraná SA, and the newspapers Época, El Libertador and El Litoral.
