13 Masters places are awarded for 24 teams – Andelsbuch

The group phase in the preliminary round of the 25th edition of the Sparkassen Hallenmasters in Wolfurt is over. Six clubs from the 1st state class, a sextet from the 2nd state class, a trio from the 3rd state class, three teams from the 4th state class, the two underdogs Austria Lustenau Juniors, Viktoria Bregenz 1b from the 5th state class plus four teams of the under-18s have qualified for the four promotion rounds with six teams each and three promoted teams including a lucky loser in the main competition of the Sparkasse Hallenmasters 2022/2023 or have the chance to get a ticket in the concert of the big ones. Many new names in amateur football will be among the participants from the start of the grand Masters on December 26 (5 p.m.). At the latest after the group phase in the preliminary round, the wheat is finally separated from the chaff in the four promotion rounds. The preliminary skirmish is over, now it’s time to get down to business. Only the juniors from Feldkirch and Bregenz and Tisis (1st LK) go into the second, decisive phase of the preliminary round tournament with a pristine white slate. Tisis was the goal factory in the group phase with 22 (!) goals in four games. However, Nenad Krstic and Co. were not challenged and walked into the next round. The second team from Blau-Weiss Feldkirch meets the second set from Rot-Weiss Rankweil and the two forest clubs Doren and SPG Egg/Andelsbuch plus the juniors from Team Bodensee and FNZ Bregenzwald in the first promotion group. Speaking of the Bregenzerwald U-18: Coach Reinaldo Ribeiro still plays with the forest talents himself, “Ribi” was also the best player in the indoor masters when he won the tournament with Andelsbuch (2014). With Hittisau (Vorarlbergliga), Bürs, Hohenweiler, Thuringia (all 1st LK), Klostertal, Vandans (both 2nd LK) and Mäder (3rd LK), several top teams said goodbye to the anniversary edition in Wolfurt after a short appearance
