Puerto Rican manager Yadier Molina was sent off on Saturday for the third consecutive game in the 6-5 defeat of the Navegantes del Magallanes against the Leones de Caracas in the Venezuelan winter league.
According to the game report, Molina was taken out of the game by main umpire Carlos Leal in the ninth inning after the dugouts emptied.

The recently retired Major League Baseball catcher with the St. Louis Cardinals also received an ejection in Friday’s 4-3 win against the Águilas de Zulia.
“The main umpire Jose Navas expelled manager nauta Yadier Molina and to the pitcher Henderson Alvarez in the seventh chapter for protesting the location of shipments from the visiting dugout ”, reads the report.
On Thursday, the same thing happened in the 4-1 defeat against the Águilas themselves.
“Cox Molina was ejected in the seventh inning by the main umpire Jean Torresafter angrily protesting the location of pitches ”, reads the official report.

In total, Molina, who will lead Puerto Rico in the upcoming World Baseball Classic in March, has four expulsions since his debut as a manager in Venezuelan winter ball.
Los Magallanes are in fourth place in the standings with a 12-13 record.
