While Simona Halep was provisionally suspended by the International Tennis Integrity Agency on October 28, due to a positive anti‐doping test, and it is still unclear what the final outcome will be of this case, the player resumed training.
The Romanian, titled in Toronto this summer, has not played since her defeat at 1is US Open round against Daria Snigur (107e currently), on August 29, following which she underwent nose surgery.
The former world number 1 probably hopes to win her case before the start of the 2023 season. She should speak soon.
