WORLD CUP – FIFA writes to all participating countries not to protest to Qatar, asking to focus only on football

BOLASPORT.COM – FIFA asks all participating countries for the 2022 World Cup to focus solely on football and not to get involved in the polemic of human rights violations targeting Qatar as the host.

In two weeks, millions of football lovers’ eyes will be on the 2022 World Cup tournament which will take place in Qatar.

The opening match will be held on November 20 with a duel between the hosts Qatar national team and Ecuador national team.

In more or less 28 days, as many as 64 parties will be presented with the final match taking place on 18 December.

With the 2022 World Cup approaching, the wave of protests has come increasingly massive from several countries by highlighting Qatar’s alleged human rights violations.

The protest actions in the form of boycott campaign banners, comments from pandits, to the coaches and national team players who competed in this edition also colored it.

In line with this, FIFA has emphasized that the countries participating in the 2022 World Cup should not be involved in this protest.

FIFA sent a letter to all participants asking them to focus on their respective teams and not to ignore issues related to human rights.
