Doha – The players of the Saudi Arabian national team are to be rewarded handsomely for their sensational victory against Argentina (2:1) at the World Cup in Qatar. As reported by CNN, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman plans to give all players involved a luxury Rolls-Royce car.
The corresponding model “Phantom” has a value of around 460,000 dollars (442,000 euros). Bin Salman is considered a football fan and personally congratulated the players after their victory.

After the subsequent 2-0 defeat by Poland on Saturday, Saudi Arabia will battle Mexico on Wednesday (20:00 CET) for a place in the round of 16. It would be the greatest success for the Gulf state since entering the round of the top 16 at the 1994 World Cup.
