The current season of the Ukrainian Premier League began at the end of August 2022 and should end in May 2023. The tournament is attended by 16 teams that will play 30 rounds twice playing each other. At the end of the competition, the club that scores the most points will become the champion. Bets on this event are accepted by Mostbet uzcard.

According to the bookmakers, the main contenders for the championship title are Shakhtar, Dnipro-1, Dynamo Kyiv and Zorya. Having analyzed these teams and studied the information about them, it is possible to predict which of the clubs will get UPL gold medals.

Miner

The guys of Igor Jovicevich are having an excellent season. On the domestic arena, the Pitmen are regularly scoring points. In the opening eight rounds, the Orange-and-Blacks got six wins and drew twice. At the same time, the brainchild of Rinat Akhmetov confidently operates near the gates of others and reliably at his own. Despite the fact that the Shakhtar also play in European competitions, they demonstrate excellent physical condition and a good level of play.

Taras Stepanenko and partners are able to solve the set tasks. Even despite the fact that after a third of the championship Shakhtar is behind Dnipro-1, the Donetsk club is able to beat less experienced opponents. So the Pitmen’s chances of winning gold medals are impressive.

Dnepr-1

Wards of Oleksandr Kucher unexpectedly for many after the first third of the championship were at the top of the standings. At the same time, Dnepr-1 is slightly ahead of Donetsk Shakhtar. In nine starting rounds of the Ukrainian Premier League, the Dnipro team won eight victories and drew once (with Ingulets – 2:2). The brainchild of Yuri Bereza has a strong line-up, but it will be difficult for this team to demonstrate stable results in the long run.

Sergey Loginov and partners will make every effort to win the debut champion title. However, the club, founded in 2017, will find it extremely difficult not to let Shakhtar ahead of them.

Dynamo Kyiv

The Kyiv club started the 2022/2023 season just disgusting. From August to November, Dynamo Kyiv played eight matches in the domestic arena, in which they got only four victories. At the same time, Dynamo lost to such teams as Dnepr-1, Zorya and Shakhtar, and also tied with Vorskla. In addition, Mircea Lucescu’s wards performed ingloriously in the UEFA Europa League, taking off at the group stage. In the context of the struggle for the championship in Ukraine, the departure from European competitions can be considered a plus for the White-Blues. In the second round of the UPL, Dynamo will have more time to rest than their competitors.

It will be difficult for Dynamo to win back the impressive gap. So winning silver medals for the club will already be considered a success.

Dawn

The team of Patrick van Leeuwen cannot boast of stable results. Although from time to time Zara manages to have good winning streaks. For example, at the end of October, the Lugansk team defeated Chernomorets, Veres and Metalist 1925 in turn with a total score of 8:0. At the same time, misfires happen to the “muzhiks”, such as a crushing defeat from Dnipro-1 and a draw with one of the outsiders of the league, Kryvbas.

Possessing a good line-up, the Black-and-Whites are able to impose a fight on any opponents. However, the maximum that Zorya can compete for is bronze medals.

Our forecast

The Orange-and-Blacks are more experienced than most of their competitors and have a high-quality selection of performers. Even despite the good level of Dnipro-1, with a high probability the next championship will go to Shakhtar. If the Dnipros continue in the same spirit, they may well secure medals for themselves, but most likely silver ones. Unstable Zorya and Dynamo Kyiv will fight for the third place. More “black and white” and “white and blue” shines if they give out an incredible series of victories, and competitors start to lose points.
