The Basketball World Cup 2023 will be held between August and September of said year in Japan, Philippines and Indonesia. The best teams on the planet will compete to take the crown from Spainwinner in 2019 and again among the candidates to repeat in this contest.

How many teams qualify for the 2023 World Cup?
The 2023 World Cup will consist of 32 teams. Two places were automatically assigned to the organizers, Japan y Filipinaswhile Indonesia (third organizer) did not receive that benefit, as he was unable to meet FIBA’s competitive requirements. The rest of the 30 places will be distributed with 12 seats for Europe, 7 for America, 6 for Asia/Oceania and 5 for Africa.
