In terms of condition, Bayern have outgrown the league a bit if they don’t voluntarily miss the goal like they did a few weeks ago. We may still have to learn to say after the 1-1 and the saved penalty: Let’s maybe stand a bit lower and stop running up front. It was also perhaps a bit overwhelming for many because one or the other had never played here before. But all in all we have enough players in the squad who have enough experience. A defeat like that in Munich shouldn’t happen to us anyway. We won’t let that ruin the year because it was a really nice year. We still have a great home game ahead of us. Bayern have enormous quality, especially in the transition game and in the last third. We lacked the last precision, the last punch. In the phase when it’s 1-1 and the penalty is saved, you think: Something’s going to happen here today. But then we couldn’t pull the game to our side. But we also have to be realistic enough. We haven’t lost anywhere. We’re not the first team to be shot out of the stadium here. Maybe it ended up being a goal or two too high. We have to learn from this game. It’s about not letting the whole mood change now. We’ve already been able to show our faces for that.”
Marvin Ducksch (Werder Bremen striker): “We tried to play our football. Bayern then mercilessly exploited this three times within six minutes. You are then 1:4 behind.
