Mark van Bommel was again without a win on Sunday with Royal Antwerp FC. The coach saw his team draw goalless against Anderlecht. In Germany, Union Berlin lost the lead due to a heavy 5-0 defeat at Bayer Leverkusen.
Antwerp started with Jurgen Ekkelenkamp, Calvin Stengs and Vincent Janssen in the base of the home game with Anderlecht, who have been wandering this season. The three Dutchmen were replaced fifteen minutes before the end.
After a flashy start to the season, Antwerp has lost it in the Jupiler Pro League in recent weeks. Van Bommel has only won two of the last seven league matches with his team.
Antwerp is still second, but due to the new loss of points, the gap with leader KRC Genk has risen to nine points. Genk defeated Charleroi on Friday 4-1.
Things are going dramatically with Anderlecht. The 34-time national champion took only twenty points in the first sixteen rounds and is therefore in eleventh place.

Bakker, included in the pre-selection of Orange for the World Cup, took care of the final chord fifteen minutes before time. The left back played the entire game. Right back Frimpong, who can also hope for the World Cup in Qatar, was replaced fifteen minutes before the end for Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
Union Berlin are now second in the Bundesliga, two points behind Bayern. Leverkusen rises to fourteenth place due to the generous victory.
