Uiseong-gun (Governor Kim Joo-su) Uiseong Sports Club (Chairman Park Young-cheol) won the tennis adult and senior championships at the 5th National Sports Club Exchange Competition (76 clubs nationwide) hosted by the Korea Sports Association held in Jeonju for two days from October 29 to 30. As a result of focusing on nurturing dream players of table tennis starting from the regional sports club league competition in 2019, the results showed good results, including 1st place in the middle school preliminaries and 2 people in the 2nd place in the elementary school preliminaries. The participating students expressed their strong ambition to win the championship like the senior players in the future. In 2019, he won the tennis senior division and adult division respectively, and was runner-up in the table tennis senior division.

This club was selected by the Korea Sports Council in March 2017 in Uiseong-gun. On September 4, the establishment of the Uiseong Sports Club was approved as a public sports club with local sports facilities as a base and professional leaders. Currently, it mainly operates four sports, including tennis, table tennis, badminton, and futsal.
