Tickets torn away: Huge interest in the World Cup on Danish soil | BT Badminton

The demand for the Badminton WC in Copenhagen next year is enormous.

In less than a day, all weekend partout and partout tickets for the whole week have been sold.

This is stated by Badminton Denmark in a press release.

At the WC, among other things, the Danish star Viktor Axelsen will try to defend the WC gold medal he won in Tokyo this year.

In addition, Danish and foreign badminton fans can also look forward to following other stars such as Anders Antonsen, Rasmus Gemke and Mia Blichfeldt.

It is still possible to buy tickets that went on sale on 2 November for the individual days, reads the message from the association.

BT has been in contact with Badminton Denmark about the number of tickets sold, but they cannot provide an exact figure.

Only that, as mentioned, the part tickets are sold out – and that ticket sales are going well as far as day tickets are concerned.

It is the fifth time in history that Denmark will hold an individual badminton world championship. In 2023 it will be in the Royal Arena in Copenhagen from 21-27 August.

Semifinals and finals will be played on Saturday and Sunday, August 26 and 27 respectively.
