They sanction Robert Lewandowski with three games for touching his nose at Osasuna-Barça

BarcelonaThe Competition Committee of the RFEF has sanctioned Robert Lewandowski with one match for his expulsion a few days ago at the Osasuna stadium and with two more commitments for the gesture of touching his nose which, according to the sanctioning body , incurs “an attitude of contempt towards referees, managers or sports authorities”. Referee Gil Manzano sent off the Barça scorer for a double yellow card for elbowing David García, defender of the Navarrese team. After unsuccessfully protesting the decision, Lewy tapped his nose twice on his way to the locker room and pointed toward the turf. The sequence was reflected by the referee from Extremadura at the event of the match: “Once sent off, and when he was heading towards the exit of the field, the footballer twice made a gesture of disapproval of the referee’s decision, consisting of approaching his finger to his nose and then pointing with his thumb up. As he was already leaving the field of play, he repeated the gesture again looking at assistant number 1 and towards the fourth official.”

The Polish striker will miss the games against Espanyol, Atlético de Madrid and Betis in La Liga.

For his part, Gerard Piqué has been banned for four games for his angry complaint at halftime of the match against Osasuna. The problem is not serious, as the Barcelona player has already retired from professional football practice.
