Joe Rogan’s Crazy Polar Bear Story
In a recent show, during which he received comedian and UFC enthusiast Andrew Schultz, for example, he launched into a great tirade on the tragic fate of a group of explorers. Joe Rogan explained how a man was eaten alive by a polar bear on the ice floe, all while his friends watched. Sensitive souls refrain :
This group of explorers was starting to sink, their boat had a leak, so they all went down to take refuge on a small ice bank in the middle of the pack ice. They were stuck in the open sea and it would take several hours before another boat could come to rescue them. And at one point they saw a polar bear in the distance.
All of a sudden the bear dove into the water, he came out right in front of their little ice bank, he grabbed one of the crew members, dragged him underwater, and he swam with him to another piece of pack ice. He started eating it in front of everyone. They must have watched him get eaten alive. Bears don’t bother to kill their prey.
This story represents “The Joe Rogan Experience” perfectly. It is absolutely impossible to know if the anecdote is true, if it is even believable, but it is told with such charisma that it is highly entertaining. Whether at the edge of the octagon on Saturdays or in his studio, the UFC commentator knows how to captivate his audience.
