The Mar del Plata Tennis Club resumes holding Open Tournaments. In this case, it is the “Farmacia Laura Rodríguez” Cup, whose dispute will begin on Sunday the 13th of this month, in the excellent courts at 4199 Tetamanti Avenue.
The expectation generated by this return of competitive activity to one of the emblematic entities of tennis in this city, has been reflected in the large number of registered participants.

The contest will be aimed at all categories of men’s singles (from first to sixth); from second to fifth in ladies, all categories of men’s doubles (from first to sixth), doubles ladies (from second to fifth) and mixed doubles (A and B).
All categories of singles and doubles will be played by zones, classifying the first three of each zone for the direct elimination bracket, so that each player is guaranteed to participate in several matches, regardless of the results obtained.
In matches where it is necessary to play a third set, this will be a traditional set and not a super tie-break.
In addition to the main sponsor, Farmacia Laura Rodríguez, the event is sponsored by Mirador Beach Club, Churros Mar del Plata, El Bowling de Paso and Modo Activo Mdq. It will be played with Wilson Roland Garros balls.
Tournament for adults and minors in Nation
This Sunday the 6th, on the courts of Club Atlético Nación (Tres Arroyos and Falucho) a tennis tournament will be held for adults of all categories (A and B) and advanced minors (A).
The game schedule will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a singles tournament by zones and a team tournament.
The quota is 20 participants and in addition to the trophies for champions and runners-up, products and vouchers from the sponsoring companies will be raffled among all the tennis players.
