The Parabadminton World Championship is here

Spanish para badminton has its sights set on the Para Badminton World Championship, which takes place from November 1 to 6 in Tokyo (Japan). A total of four national volantistas will face the best rackets on the planet thanks to their career, as they have achieved classification based on their world ranking.

The Spanish classified are Iván Segura, Paco Motero, Ignacio Fernández and Cristina Sánchez de Lechina, Jordi Carrión and Jorge, who have traveled accompanied by the national parabadminton coordinator Miguel Ángel Polo, and the coach Dina Abouzeid. Spain will have representation in the individual events with Segura, Motero, Fernández and Sánchez de Lechina.

The competition starts at dawn from this Monday, October 31 to Tuesday, November 1 and can be followed live through the BWF YouTube channel.

The draw for the draws has shown no mercy to the Spaniards, who have been paired with rivals of the highest level. In any case, the objective is to leave a mark and I am sure that the national representatives will give everything to achieve it.
